Hannah Nygren

Hannah is an environmental monitor / project manager at JRC Environmental Consulting.

While completing her B.Sc in Biology and Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria, she worked with B.C Parks and various Non-profit organizations to conduct environmental restoration and monitoring surveys. This experience sparked a deep interest in ecology and the mitigation of environmental impacts. After graduating, she worked as a laboratory technician processing aquatic samples and compiling data for environmental monitoring projects.

Her experience in the field, processing samples and compiling large data sets for reporting gives her a broad perspective of all aspects that go into environmental monitoring.

Growing up in the Columbia Valley, Hannah found herself drawn back home where she could apply her knowledge and expertise to make informed and sustainable environmental decisions. In her spare time, Hannah loves to garden, bike, camp, and climb!
